As much as I wish I was I am not a crafty lady. Every time I get inspired and try a project I end up being less than happy with the results. Recently I have got it in my mind that I really wanted some red patio chairs for the front of our house---after some inspiration from some really cute green and yellow chairs I have spotted in our neighborhood. I found a pair of red chairs at Target, but I avoided them as long as I could since we have perfectly fine white hand-me-down chairs from Zach's grandparents. Friday I just couldn't deny my desires anymore. We went to Target to get the chairs and they were gone! I did not take that as a sign. Red chairs were meant to be, just not those red chairs apparently. Zach suggested I just spray paint the chairs we already have red and I told him that that was such a man thing to say, but a few hours later my desperation for red chairs deepened and we headed to Walmart at 930pm for some red spray paint. I was so excited I took the little table into the garage and painted it right away. Saturday morning we had our group run right away and then we had to leave for Seward in time to watch the USA soccer match so I didn't get a chance to finish the job. I got them all done Monday morning and I think they look lovely! They aren't perfect, but they don't really need to be. They look good from the street and as long as no one does a thorough inspection they look like they have always been red. I'm still not into crafts, but this project was a success!

Here is one of the white chairs before spray paint entered its life.

And here they are after! Just in time for the Fourth of July too!

Here is a view from the sidewalk. They are kind of hard to see in this pic, but you get the idea.

And here is the aftermath in the garage. Not only was the entire garage floor affected, but my boogers were red too :) You can also see the other craft project we had started to work on----and A frame for our climbing beans. It turned out great too!
