Veggie Garden-End of May Update

Here is an update on how our garden is growing...
Bull's Blood Beets. I don't know how we know when they are ready to pick, but I don't think they are ready yet!
The arugula. Way more than we could ever eat!
Mr Zucchini, preparing to take over the garden.
Little tiny cucumber plants. Eventually we will thin them out and leave the best 2-3.
Green bean sprouts. We have two rows this year.
Super industrial tomato cage that Zach built. We had lots of problems the last two years with our cages not being tall/strong enough. Hopefully these suckers will do the job.
Attack of the mint plant! My only advice to you is to NEVER plant mint in your garden. We love the mint, but next time it will go in a pot. This mint is three years old and it just keeps getting bigger and bigger.
Carrots. These were planted at the end of March and they look great! Yummy!
Super humongous rhubarb plant. It doesn't know this yet, but it will be used in a pie this weekend. More on that later.
Our new row of herbs. The herbs used to be at the back of the garden, but they always got overshadowed by the tomatoes so this year I moved them to the front. A lot of the old ones are still all over the place in the back of the garden, but I don't have the heart to destroy them. We planted: parsley, cilantro, rosemary, thyme, basil and dill. At the back of the garden we still have mint, spearmint, dill, oregano, thyme, sage, and cilantro. It's all over the place!
Our best looking broccoli.
Moonglow tomato that we have grown from seed. There was no room in the inn so it got its own pot.
A picture of the whole garden. It is hard to see all the details now, but just wait until the end of July comes around. Love it!
